I’m encouraged by your courage to share your imperfections and to see them as a way for Him to walk into your life. I’m working on it. I’m trying harder and harder to remind myself that every moment is a time for me to share His love. Sometimes I need to share it with myself and other times it’s with the woman carrying toddler like a football screaming through WalMart with a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread. Those are the women who I tell are doing a great job at being a mom. I had so many of those days and although my daughter will be 7 tomorrow, I still have the carry the screaming child out of the store days. Prayers that we all see the messes of our life and accept His gentle guiding hands. Thank you for your honest and open acceptance of your imperfections. You help us all feel a little more at ease in life. 🙂

I too, have had those do-over days to fix staying up way too late, leading to the aftermath of the next day. I too struggle with my emotions showing on the outside. Thank you for the reminder that those are the beautiful days because those are the days He steps in and cleans up our hearts. Wow!

Though my kids are grown and gone I remember SO many times at Christmas I could have used a do over day. My daughter was born on the 21st of December, the youngest of 3 so December was doubly busy for me. I still have nightmares of working all night Christmas Eve, getting home at 5 as the kids are waking up then cooking and hosting Christmas dinner for up to 30 people. Christmas was not a good time for me.
Though those days are gone the old stresses tend to come back at this time of year. I need reminding that Christmas is about God’s gift to us and not having everything perfect because I’m not perfect. (I have a huge inner introvert who won’t go out today except to work). Thanks Kayse.
